2nd Mothers Day Card.......

Had to stay home again from work today again. I went in yesterday for a couple of ours and it wiped me out! I've decided that it would be best for recovery in my hand that I at least stay home until I see the Dr. on Monday. So..... To help get my mind off of what will be waiting for me when I finally do go back to work, I made my 2nd Mothers Day Card. This time I looked for inspiration ;)
The first is the SC279 lay-out from Roxie and Dawn at SPS...
The second is 'Stripes" from a new fabulous challenge blog called The Bourtonesque Dolls. I'm gonna LOVE this blog!

Now, I know I don't have a 'doll' on my card... trust me, you don't want me attempting to color at this point. I really wanted to join on their first challenge ever! Even though it doesn't show here very well, I both a salmon and black ink for the light fixture. It actually looks better in person. I wanted to add something else o the card but with only one hand and a couple of fingers working properly I'm very limited LOL.

Thanks for looking and, just like you do, I'd love to hear what you think :)

Wonderful card Gail! That fixture reminds me of something we would see in a Burton film! Thank you so much for joining us on our first challenge!

I think you did an awesome job! It looks perfectly eerie if I were to see it hanging in Jacks Mansion or Lydia's house;) Thanks for joining us on our Debut Challenge. I love The Burtonesque Dolls too, they are fab!
