Mothers Day

Mothers Day is just around the corner! And it's just like me to wait until I'm under the wire to make a card! This is Daisy! I LOVE HER! This is why I thought it was appropriate to use her for my Mothers Day card. The three gems are mine and my sisters birth stones. The hart... well it's because all of us girls just love pretty things right? The hair is as close to being a red-head as I could get. If anyone has suggestions please let me know. I finally broke down and bought my first Copic marker and I LOVE IT! I used it for Daisy's skin tone. The hair was colored with SU! pencils. The rest of the colors are used with Martha Stewart's markers. The yellow flowers are flocked. That's the first time I've used flocking too! This is a lot of first times for me including stamping my Daisy! Thanks for looking and giving me any ideas and constructive criticism! XOXOXO I've also entered this in the 'A Spoon Full of Sugar' contest! the challenge is Green and Blue!

Get out there and just start going. I couldn't run a mile to save my life, and now look at what I'm able to do! Anyone can do this and I hope you find that inner strength and desire.

Good Luck and keep reading, I promise to keep blogging and let you know all about my upcoming stuff :o)
