Cards For Heros Blog Hop

Hello everyone! I'm glad you made it to my blog! If you started here please begin at CFH Blog Hop List!!!

These are a couple cards that I've made for CFH. I made 5 of the Santa ones in bulk! What a great way to make a bunch of cards! (hint, hint) I got the layout ideas from Charisma Cardz. I love doing layout challenges, it takes the brain work out of figuring it out on my own! LOL This is a great way to show your appreciation to the men and women of our great country that are deployed to protect us. They are in need of cards and this is one way that I feel is a great opportunity to let them know that we have not forgotten. Imagine being sent far from all your family for months or years. Living in dirt, being fully dressed in battle gear in the middle of winter and it's blazing over 100 degrees! aughh. I'm dying with it just breaking 95 here and in shorts! These guys need our help to stay in touch with their families. I know we ALL love to make cards otherwise we wouldn't be here in front of the computer going through blogs to ooohh and ahhhh over others beautiful work. CFH is a sight that ships homemade cards over to these guys. They are so touched when a box is sent to them not to mention the family members they send them to! Check out their websight and watch the videos and read the testimonies of the wives and husbands that receive our work. I challenge you to complete their challenge of making 25 Christmas cards + 1 Birthday card for a hero + 1 Thank You card in which you can write how thankful you are that they have chosen the work they do for our country. What do you get for it? Well, besides the warm feeling inside knowing that you will touch many service men and women but Lauri and I both have CANDY! (check mine out below) Make sure your Christmas holiday cards are sent to CFH by November 1st so it has enough time to get the the solders to send to family!!!

What I'd like you to do for this is...
1) Link CFH on your side bar
2)complete the challenge (from today through the end of the month), let me know that you have done so.

This challenge candy will be pulled on September 1! So please don't forget to let me know!

Lauri and I both will have Candy through October so you have a chance to win each month! I'll even put in an extra point if you link the candy to you blog ;) Come back to this my blog at the beginning of each month to see that months candy offering.
I'll pull a name out of a hat - unless there are quite a few (which I'm really hoping for) then I'll have to figure out how to use the randomizer ;) You can enter as many challenges as you wish! Please help out this year and look in your stash for your head start!

Enough reading my rambling!!! Go check out what Kelly has in store for you as the next hop!

My Candy Offering for this blog hop and Challenge :) Good luck!

Great card. Love your blog background funky...love it! Thank you for supporting our heroes. I am also one who can't imagine being in that heat fighting, and carrying and missing and just ugh. God, I know I could not do it. But, what I can do is support them, and with great ladies like you and and the wonderful people at cfh, were doing it one card at a time!
